Giles Swayne from Edinburgh!
31 Oct 2012

Making his Resonus debut in 2013 will be Edinburgh-based organist Simon Nieminski. Already a noted recording artist, Simon has taken on the monumental organ work Stations of the Cross by Giles Swayne for his first release on the Resonus label. At around an hour in length, Stations of the Cross is one of the most significant organ works of recent times and was written in reaction to the fourteen stations by Eric Gill in Westminster Cathedral.
In addition, Simon has recorded a volume of organ works by Charles Villiers Stanford, following on from the critically acclaimed first volume by Tom Winpenny, for release in the future.
