Boris Kucharsky | violin

Boris Kucharsky holds professorships at the Yehudi Menuhin School, the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and the Hochschule für Musik in Trossingen. He has performed as a soloist with orchestras such as the European Chamber Orchestra, the Slovak Philharmonic Orchestra, the Staatskapelle Schwerin, the Suk Chamber Orchestra, the Chamber Academy Neuss and the Prague Chamber Orchestra.

A protégé of the legendary Yehudi Menuhin, Kucharsky’s recordings of all ten Beethoven Sonatas, complete Schubert Violin Sonatas, Piano Trios, Fantasie D.934, and the Arpeggione Sonata performed on Viola, have all won widespread critical acclaim.

He plays the ‘Baron Knoop’ violin by Carlo Bergonzi, made in Cremona 1735.
