Royal Scottish National Orchestra principal trumpet Christopher Hart studied at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, and then at the Royal Academy of Music, continuing his studies with the prestigious London Symphony Orchestra Brass Academy course.

Chris has performed with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, the London Philharmonic Orchestra, the Orchestra of Scottish Opera and the BBC National Orchestra of Wales. His recent projects include a critically acclaimed recording of Stravinsky’s L’Histoire du Soldat with Oliver Knussen, and Soliloquies by Peter Fribbins with the RSNO and Robertas Šervenikas.
