London Calling is an album that brings together music by composers who live and work in the titular city. The album explores memory, identity and community through a variety of contemporary choral works.

Recorded in Lewisham, the new pieces form a musical map of the city, from Telegraph Hill sunsets to forgotten lives of Londoners. Alongside these commissions written for and premiered by Vox Urbane, the programme reflects on the social, ecological and artistic diversity of the capital.

Vox Urbane continues to help shape London’s creative ecosystem.
