Joseph’s collaborations with Jessica Walker include, as arranger and pianist, La Solitude: The Songs of Barbara (Jermyn Street Theatre and La Barcarolle, Saint-Omer), Not Such Quiet Girls (Opera North/Leeds Playhouse) and All I Want is One Night (Manchester Royal Exchange/Brits Off-Broadway, New York), and as composer, Scene Unseen (Royal and Derngate/ETO) Cabaret Macabre (British Youth Music Theatre) and Songs for Our Times (Lichfield Festival). His other projects include Chasing Rainbows with Lea Desandre (Opera Comique, Paris/Cité Bleue, Geneva/ Opera Rouen), Derek Jarman: Modern Nature (Barbican) and the Olivier-nominated Josephine and I (Bush Theatre, London/ Public Theater, New York). He has also created work for Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, the RSC, Young Vic, BBC4, and BBC Radio 3.
