'A refreshing, beautifully realised new recording of Fauré's Requiem [...] the New York boys and men sing eloquently and touchingly [...] Superb recording, one feels transported to Fifth Avenue'

- Classical Music Magazine (5 stars)

'[...] it's a forthright, devotional interpretation that avoids heavyweight solemnity without losing sight of the work's ritual elements. [...] This is a fine choir, the treble tone appealingly bright, altos and tenors unearthly yet beautiful. [...] The reverberant acoustic of St Thomas's Church itself adds immeasurably to the liturgical atmosphere.'
