Co-founded by conductor Harry Bradford, and sopranos Kirsty O’Neill and Danni O’Neill in 2018, Recordare brings together some of the UK’s finest professional choral singers. The ensemble’s work is driven not only by precision and excellence, but by a deep commitment to moving performances, vibrant storytelling, and genuine connection both within the ensemble and with our audiences. With roots in the Genesis Sixteen scheme and the Royal Academy of Music, many of Recordare’s singers are also established soloists in both oratorio and opera.

The size of the ensemble varies depending on the musical demands of the project and this flexible structure allows the group to offer a varied musical palette from intimate, solo voice programmes right up to the larger scale choral and orchestral works. Recordare perform most regularly as a 12–18 voice chamber choir, which lends itself well to the various different musical demands of their innovative programmes.

Recordare is in demand for festival and concert series appearances across the UK as well as a regular programme of workshops and functions.
