Sybille Diethelm gained her soloist diploma as a concert and opera singer at the University of Music and Theatre in Munich. She studied Musicology and German in addition at the University of Zurich. She won several study prize competitions. She embodied her first opera roles in the Prinzregententheater in Munich, guest performances led her to the theatres of Ingolstadt, Nurnberg and Bayreuth. The performances of the St. Johns Passion and the St. Matthews Passion conducted by Helmuth Riling were her most moving concert experiences. Her love of song is documented by two CD recordings. She has sung for the Origen Festival Cultural since 2009.
