Stephen Farr (organ & harpsichord)
Chloë Hanslip (violin)

Renowned organ virtuoso Stephen Farr completes his major survey of the complete organ works of Kenneth Leighton (1929-1988), with this third and final volume in this acclaimed series.

Recorded on the Rieger organ of St Giles' Cathedral, Edinburgh (solo works) and on the organ of St Paul's Church in Knightsbridge (Es ist genug), Farr's natural affinity with Leighton's music is once more on display in electrifying and engaging performances of these important works of the twentieth century organ repertoire.

Farr is joined in this final volume by the celebrated violinist Chloë Hanslip for the extended and expressive Fantasy on a Chorale, 'Es ist genug', Op. 80 while Farr also contirbutes on the harpsichord in Leighton's only solo work for that instrument - Improvisations 'De profundis', Op. 76 of 1977.
